A female high school student filed a complaint against a Catholic school in Cebu City for not allowing her to join their graduation program.

Administrators of the school excluded the student from the graduation program when they discovered that a photo showing the student on a two-piece bikini while holding a lighted cigarette was posted on the complainant’s Facebook account.

The school’s legal counsel, Romeo Balili, said the photo destroyed the school’s reputation.

The student lamented she was not given due process when the school decided to bar her from joining the graduation program.

She said the photos were taken during a birthday party in a posh resort in Lapu-Lapu City last January.
