Even with a court sheriff in tow, six students were unable to join their classmates in the graduation rites of the St. Theresa’s College (STC) early today.
The school administration barred the students who were accompanied by their parents in defiance of Judge Wilfredo Navarro’s order that mandated them to allow the students to join the graduation ceremonies.
The school officials said they will only talk with the family and the court after the graduation ceremony. The school guards barred the families of the students and the court sheriff, saying they didn’t have the graduation pass.

too bad, but rules are rules. they were all issued Student Handbooks, presumably. the problem is that these are seldom read. people have a habit of signing on the dotted lines and not bothering to really understand and clear up what they do not understand.
and what in hell is the reason for bringing a court order into play ?
rules foster responsibility, and if graduating students from high school have not learned what responsibility means, why should they even graduate ?
