THE son of a businessman in Talisay City was shot inside his sports utility vehicle while traversing the road in Unit 5, Opra in Kalunasan, Cebu City.
Cebu City police said the gunman could have been his passenger who sat at the back. They recovered an NBI clearance and driver’s license from victim Antonio Santos whose address is in Biasong, Talisay City.
Santos drove his light blue Honda CRV bearing plate number YBH 835 when his passenger shot him from behind. The suspect got out of the vehicle and shot him again.
The victim got out of the vehicle and tried to escape only to fall face down, allowing the suspect to finish him off. The gunman sped off on a waiting motorcycle at the site.
Police said Santos may be the son of a resort owner in Talisay City. His remains were brought to Sure Life Funeral Homes along N. Bacalso Avenue in Cebu City.
