Cebu City Police Office Homicide Section will be inviting at least five persons who might be involved in the killing of a son of a resort owner, Antonio Favia Santos.
Senior Inspector Jul Mohammad Jamiri chief of the Homicide section of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said two of the suspects could be involved in the illegal numbers game.
The others will be invited to shed light on the investigation because they have personal dealings with the victim.
The family of Santos who owns Villa Teresita resort in barangay Pooc, Cebu City said they do not know where the bundles of cash came from.
Police investigators are also investigating the call logs and messages in the victim’s cell phone recovered at the crime scene in OPRRA, barangay Kalunasan, Cebu city yesterday afternoon.
