A 61-year old man is accused of raping a nine year-old girl in
barangay Uling, Naga City, south of Cebu.
The sexual abuse was discovered when the girl complained to her parents of genital pains.
They later on found kiss marks on the kid’s breast part and bruises on her arms.
Police said the kid was told to buy a cigarette from a nearby sari-sari store when the man, who is a neighbor, allegedly asked her to go with him to their house past 6 p.m. last night.
The parents reported the incident to the police who nabbed the man inside his home at 11 p.m.. He however denied allegations but did not resist arrest.The girl was brought to the Pink Room at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) for medical examination.
