A 52-year old man was killed after a lighting struck him while fishing off the coast of barangay Colon, Naga City, Thursday morning.
Rolando Lim, a fisherman went fishing for his family’s provision despite heavy rain with lightning striking the skies from time to
time.
It was another fisherman who reported to the police that Lim was hit by a lightning.
The witnesses told them that they were 100 meters away from the victim when he was hit and fell down on his boat.
He was rushed to South General Hospital but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival./ Gabriel C. Bonjoc, Correspondent
