The son of Carcar City Mayor Nicepuro Apura was shot dead while
attending a community dance-concert in barangay Valladolid, early
Sunday dawn.
Carl Vinson Apura, 25 years old was shot in the head by an
unidentified man while at the disco.
He was last seen dancing with a lady when they heard a gun shot. The
woman said the shot scared her thus she covered herself and later
found Carl Vinson fell to the ground and bathed with blood.
The people at the event scampered for their lives and no one saw the
gunman who fled in a crime committed at 1:15 a.m. in sitio Upper
Tubod.
The bullet entered from the left side of Carl Vinson’s head and exited
at the right side.
PO3 Vicente Garces Jr. said they are looking into the angle of
fraternity rivalry.
