Talent manager and celebrity mother Anabelle Rama officially transferred her registration to Cebu City North District this afternoon.
The celebrity cousin of Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama arrived in Cebu this morning and went directly to Cebu City Hall.
The mayor persuaded Anabelle to run for Cebu City’s north congressional district against the del Mars who have been holding the seat for a long time.
She went with her cousin Basak Pardo barangay captain George Rama to Cebu City’s north district office of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) where she transferred her registration.
In a radio interview, she asked the Cebuanos to pray for her so she can decide on the mayor’s offer.
“Cebuanos know I’m always here in Cebu. Please pray for me if I should run as congresswoman. If you really want me to run, please pray for me,” she said.

Much better for her is to clear herself against cases filed by the Assistio family. Anabelle is not known to be a good leader but the contrast about her is her pattern of questionable behavior, which would not augur good for the district. It wont help Mayor Rama. It will only make Tom Osmena in the upperhand. Please, review your decision on this matter.
