About 50 Caloocan City officials were rushed to two Cebu hospitals for food poisoning, Thursday morning.

A barangay official said the officials, who were on a three-day study tour, fell ill after eating dinner at a buffet table in one hotel in Osmeña Boulevard last Tuesday evening.

The dinner buffet consisted of seafood, pork, vegetables and rice. They were rushed to the Lapu-Lapu City District Hospital and Mactan Doctors Hospital for treatment.
