ILLEGAL drugs charges were filed in court against a pharmacist for selling and and possessing nalbuphine hydrochloride or  Nubain.

Ritz Villahermosa  was arrested by police last March 3 in an entrapment operation in barangay Zapatera, Cebu City.

She was caught selling 100 ampules of Nubain to a poseur-buyer.

Also taken from her possession in her car were 1,100 ampules.

The  39-year-old  resident of barangay Pakigne, Minglanilla, may have to languish in jail during the trial.

Prosecutors  recommended bail of P200,000 bail for the charge of possession.

But selling illegal drugs is a non-bailiable offense, if the evidence is strong, under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act  9165).
