Lapu-Lapu City’s “Kadaugan Street Party” (KSP) promises to be even better and bigger than ever as it expects more than 60,000 visitors to attend the event.

Organizers promise that April 27 and 28 will be two whole days of non-stop activities. Live entertainment, fun and games, sports, food and drinks await the KSP patrons.

Lapu-Lapu City councilor Harry Don Radaza, chairman of the Tourism committee, is optimistic of the success of this year’s edition of the KSP based on the support it is getting from the media, the local government and most importantly the Oponganons.

This year’s KSP will have more bands and live performances, more activities for adults and kids, more food and drink options, more booths to shop, and more fun and surprises.

April 27 will feature boxing matches by Ala Promotions and dance parties.

April 28 will be ushered in by the midnight run, walk or crawl, never-seen-before 3k and 6k Midnight Beer Run.

The party continues on Saturday April 28 with the Rampada, the most awaited event of the Kadaugan Street Party. For some adrenaline and sights, drool over beautiful ladies and cars in the KSP Car Show.

The night will be rocked as musicians acts from Cebu and Manila will showcase their tune and beat in the 360-degree stage in front of City Hall. /Norman V. Mendoza, Correspondent
