Olango Island devt tops Radaza’s SOCA

PLAN to develop Olango island as a tourism destination and the P10 billion investment of major developer Megaword served as highlights of Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza’s State of the City Address (SOCA).

Before an estimated 10,000 crowd at the Hoopsdome, Radaza said her administration will develop Olango island as the next tourism frontier in the city.

She said the city needs to develop new tourism attractions to stay ahead of the competitive tourism market. Her one-hour SOCA listed her administration’s achievements like raising revenues and waste management.
